Emirates Airlines inspires travellers around the world with a growing network of worldwide destinations, industry-leading inflight entertainment, regionally inspired cuisine and world-class service.
Emirates operate services to 100 destinations in 62 countries around the world and the network is expanding constantly. In Australia, it operates flights out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
On 25th October 1985, Emirates flew its first routes out of Dubai with just two aircraft—a leased Boeing 737 and Airbus 300 B4 – and it has since been characterised by two key features: continuous explosive growth and a constant focus on top quality service.
The Emirates Fleet
Today, Emirates flies the world’s biggest fleets of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, offering our customers the comforts of the latest and most efficient wide-body aircraft in the skies.
Emirates’ current order-book stands at 242 aircraft, with a total value of approximately US$60 billion. In combination with what is already the youngest and one of the most modern fleets in worldwide commercial aviation, this commitment to the future reflects Emirates’ goal to develop Dubai into a comprehensive, global, long-haul aviation hub.
